To ensure your instrument remains in top condition, follow these essential tips:

*1. Instrument Safety:*

1. Handle your instrument with care; avoid dropping or bumping.

2. Store your instrument in a hardcase when not playing.

3. Keep your instrument away from extreme temperatures and humidity.

4. Avoid exposing your instrument to direct sunlight.

*2. Cleaning Your Instrument:*

1. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down your instrument.

2. Avoid using chemicals or polishes; they can damage the finish.

3. Clean the strings and fingerboard regularly.

*Bow Exercises:*

Practice these exercises to improve your bowing technique:

1. *Bunny Bow Exercise:* Hold a pencil like a bow and practice smooth, even strokes.

2. *Basic Bow Strokes:* Focus on legato (smooth) and staccato (short and detached) strokes.
